Our strong service record ensures that every detail of your event will be attended to. The "behind the scenes" management is part of our service program. The tents, lighting, flowers, table settings and entertainment need not be your concern or worry.
Mt. Desert Island and Downeast Maine support a number of small family owned truck farms and food producers. In our menu planning we strive to incorporate what is fresh and locally available. Of course seafood from Maine is world renowned. We also maintain a strong base of gourmet purveyors as an additional resource for our customers.
The staff at Country Fare Catering is comprised of motivated, friendly men and women who are committed to your function being a complete success. Each and every bartender, event chef, kitchen person and serving staff will work to ensure that your event reflects your individual taste and style.
Cocktail parties, wedding receptions, yacht club rendezvous, private dinners and corporate events are the functions on which we have built our reputation. Since 1986 we have helped clients select menus that meet their needs. Be it an elegant dinner for two or a traditional Downeast lobster bake for five hundred, Country Fare can create a menu to suit the occasion.
Venue possibilities abound on Mt. Desert Island. Private compounds, country inns, garden settings and countless outer islands offer a variety of sites. We are happy to work with you to select a location that will suit your needs and accommodate your event.
