Country Fare Event Planning was a natural expansion of the food and staff services offered by the catering side of the company. By 1994, at the continued request of our clients, we began offering extended services for weddings, special occasions and corporate events. These include:
Venue selection: Beautiful event sites abound on Mount Desert Island. Whether you choose an oceanside meadow, a country barn or a traditional New England cottage inn, they are all available on this island.
Contacting vendors: We have an extensive list of photographers, florists, pastry chefs, lighting specialists and musical talent. Our company works exclusively with the finest tent and rental company in Down East Maine.
Creating a budget: If you have a budget of $5,000 or $50,000 our experience can help you get the greatest value from every dollar spent. We want to enable you to create an event that will be memorable for you and your guests at a price that is affordable.
Design: We will assist with an exact floor plan for the event and seating layout, if requested.
Coordination: The day of the party an event manager will be on site to receive deliveries and ensure vendors are completing their jobs in a timely fashion. The event manager will be available to answer and handle any last minute questions or concerns that might arise. .
